Membership Drive Be a Friend…Join the Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization whose members share a passion for books and learning. We are a vibrant and growing group who support our library by focusing public attention on library needs and raising funds to provide local programs, services and materials that KMPL is unable to provide.
It’s easy to join and fun to be involved. Membership forms are available at the main desk or print and mail a membership form to the library.
See our brochure to learn more about the Friends and our activities.

The Library is pleased to announce a new service for music lovers. Freegal allows you to download three songs a week from the Sony Music catalog as well as thousands of other labels. The song files can be played on any device and are DRM-free, meaning you get to keep the songs forever. You can browse through popular artists such as Adele, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Pitbull, Brad Paisley, and more! Free apps are available for iOS or Android devices.
Under the new SEO system, by accessing your account through our online catalog you can do things such as place requests or renew items.
To do so, you will be asked to enter your library barcode as well as your PIN. The default PIN for your account is "changeme." A staff member can change your PIN or you can elect to access your account by typing in "changeme" as the PIN and then change your PIN using the "My Account" button.
