Join Hancock County Parks District as they show the different coloring patterns on animals.

"Cryptic coloration, also known as camouflage, helps animals blend in with their surroundings, reducing the likelihood of detection by predators. Aposematic coloration, on the other hand, is a form of warning coloration where animals use conspicuous colors and patterns to signal to predators that they are unpalatable, dangerous, or have other defenses."
